All About

Kids of the kingdom

Kids of the Kingdom (KOK) is a Christian theater ministry that helps children from kindergarten through 8th grade develop their talents in music, acting, and dancing while learning about God and sharing His message. The program is based in El Dorado Hills, California, and has been running since 2001. To date, they have put on over 40 productions. Their approach combines creative arts with evangelism, discipleship, youth development, and community service.

The ministry operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit under A.C.T. International. The children involved in the program attend weekly rehearsals where they memorize Bible verses and participate in music, dance, and acting. Teenagers from grades 9-12 can also return as mentors and teen leaders. The program is run by a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, including directors, choreographers, and tech specialists.

The KOK also organizes biannual shows. For example, the 2024 Christmas Show is scheduled to take place on November 22nd and 23rd at Vintage Grace Church in El Dorado Hills. Registration will be open beginning in August 2025.u00a0

Kids of The Kingdom International

In July 2025, Kids of the Kingdom will introduce its newest initiative, u201cOne Kingdom, One Kingu201d, to churches in Vava’u & Tonga as part of our vision to expand globally and foster international collaboration. With the Kingdom of Tonga as our starting point, this initiative uses theater and creative arts as tools to unite children and young adults from different nations, pointing them to Christ and equipping them as global leaders with opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration and growth.

In addition to the spiritual benefits of this program, our mission aims to create pathways for international partnerships that extend beyond performances. Through shared productions, collaborative experiences, and structured exchange programs, u201cOne Kingdom, One Kingu201d will promote long-term opportunities for educational, cultural, and professional growthu2014including potential assistance with foreign exchanges and visa opportunities.

This project not only honors Tongau2019s identity as the last remaining monarchy in the South Pacific and a deeply Christian nation but also strategically positions our mission within the larger context of international relations and collaborative outreach, fostering meaningful partnerships globally.
